Today, the head of the Dnipro regional council, Mykola Lukashuk, together with representatives of the βRelief Shipβ Foundation, visited the largest geriatric boarding house in Ukraine, which is currently undergoing reconstruction.
During the visit, they inspected the already replaced windows and the process of repairing the bathrooms. The guests talked with the administration of the boarding house, discussing further plans for cooperation and assistance.
One of the main projects is the arrangement of a recreation room for boarders. It is planned to install board games, TV and access to the Internet through laptops. It is noted that the necessary equipment for this has already arrived at the boarding house thanks to the generosity of an IT company that donated it to the Aid Ship Foundation.
In addition, furniture for the equipment of the working space with personal computers was provided by the agent.itravel office. This is an important step to create comfortable conditions for the active use of the boarding house’s technical capabilities.
In addition, the “Relief Ship” organization plans to hold art therapy sessions in the boarding house. This direction is aimed at improving the psychological state of residents and creating an atmosphere of warmth and care.
At the end of the visit, the head of the regional council and representatives of the foundation expressed their gratitude for the fruitful cooperation and gifts that have already been implemented thanks to the help and support of partners. They also expressed hope for further successful steps in the implementation of joint initiatives to improve the quality of life of boarders and the development of the community as a whole.
