In January of this year, the Charitable Fund “Ship of Help” together with Tour Operator “Itravel” implemented an incredibly important project – an unforgettable trip for internally displaced persons families with children living in shelters across the country to the magical Carpathians and Zakarpattia. This trip was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of both organizations and turned out to be an extraordinary opportunity for children to look into the world of bright impressions, joy and hopes.
Cooperation with Tour operator “Itravel” made it possible to make a dream come true. Volunteers from both organizations worked on every detail of the route, ensuring maximum comfort and safety for children and their parents. For many children, it was the first opportunity to see the mountains and feel the atmosphere of a real mountain village.
The journey began with an exciting bus trip, during which the children could enjoy the beauty of the Ukrainian landscape and communicate with each other. Zakarpattia gave them unexpected emotions – getting to know the traditions of the Carpathian Hutsuls and folk customs.
